opening educational exhibition at Naturkraft
A new educational exhibition at Naturkraft, a dome experience about wind power, is now open to the public. Visitors are taken on a journey through the West Jutland wind adventure: about the first pioneers and their dream of green energy. From the medieval mill on the spot where Naturkraft's car park is now, to the Dutch windmills around Ringkøbing Fjord. On 22 June, the exhibition has been inaugurated by the Danish parliamentary politician Mads Fuglede.
Tinker imagineers was responsible for the concept and exhibition design, and collaborated with their well-known partners Shosho, Stijn Hosman and Stouenborg. In between shows, the story in the film is complemented by an exhibition at the centre of the dome. As the film dims, the showcases light up, revealing historical artifacts such as the post mill's millstones and the mechanical parts of iconic windmills.
At Naturkraft, part of the Ringkøbing Fjord Museums, visitors learn how the forces of nature affect us - and what happens when we try to tame them. Through small experiments and tasks, visitors explore natural elements such as water, wind and temperature.
