festive premiere of bbc earth experience in london

BBC Earth Experience, celebrated its premiere at The Daikin Centre in Earl's Court on 29 March 2023. The experience features footage from BBC’s Seven Worlds, One Planet and fully immerses the visitor.Projected on multiple multi-angle screens using the very latest technology, visitors feel like they have stepped into the natural world. The experience is narrated by Sir David Attenborough, who was there to visit the new attraction.

About two years ago, Moon Eye Productions commissioned Tinker to undertake the experience and audiovisual design. Tinker collaborated with them and world-renowned players BBC Studios and Live Nation.‘Moon Eye Productions collaborates with creative agency Tinker imagineers and promoter Live Nation (UK). With these partnerships, we have access to a robust and diverse management network and an extremely high level of expertise and industry knowledge’, says Frederik van Alkemade, CCO of Moon Eye Productions. Tinker is very pleased with the collaboration. Erik Bär, owner of Tinker, stated: ‘The added value of linking with Moon Eye Productions is to have a partner who is willing to embark on new adventures, knows large scale productions and creates opportunities for worldwide concepts. All of this enhances the impact of our creative work.’

During the design process, several partners known for their expertise joined to contribute to the new immersive experience, including REDRUM, Danny Weijermans, Most, Bleeding Fingers, The Outpost, and yfx lab.

BBC Earth Experience: the ultimate in immersive
Visitors will take a majestic 360-degree audio visual journey as they marvel and explore iconic landscapes and connect with mesmerising animals on this epic adventure bringing environments to life. From fireflies putting on a spectacular light show in North America, to snub nosed monkeys huddling together to stay warm in Asia, and hungry hamsters fighting to keep their food in Europe, visitors will get to experience our seven continents in all their glory, like never before.

Focus on sustainability
The BBC Earth Experience has been designed with sustainability at its heart - the building and its content use materials that can be recycled, reused or given a second life. The production projectors use the latest LED energy efficient technology, powered only by renewable energy and the screens are made of cotton, which will be repurposed after use.
