making television about a hot topic: climate change
A television studio for children. In a realistic studio setting, with bumpers, teasers and live reporters, stories come to live. Backstage, where flight cases are filled with stories and objects, children come up with a theme and prepare their broadcast. The broadcast of the TV show is the grand finale. Their classmates are in the gallery, their teacher is behind the camera, the Museon talk show host presents the programme and they are the guests. An experience they won’t forget.
To many people, climate change is not an immediate concern. It is too extensive and too abstract to know what to do. For this reason, the Museon shot films about real people with real problems in three different locations around the globe. These clips show how the climate change affects ordinary people in their daily lives. The films serve as footage for the television broadcast, supported by a weather forecast for the next hundred years.
