Developing and designing a clear visual style. In spatial projects, I focus on the development of the two-dimensional elements, from concept to realisation: corporate identity, info graphics, signing, multimedia and communication tools.

As I grew up, I was free to do as I pleased, creatively: from building treehouses, designing my own clothes to restyling rooms. Nowadays, I get my inspiration from the flow of surfing, recycling old things and giving them a second life, graffiti art with a twist in public spaces, and seeing my old surroundings with new eyes through the lens of a camera.

In Nepal I realised that I do not just want to make ‘pretty pictures’; I want to contribute to projects that are socially relevant. With tinker, I am challenged to capture a broad topic in one logo or in one ‘feel’ that is the connecting thread between several (museum) rooms. Fortunately, its function is not just about presenting a pretty picture, but to support and underline the total concept, in order to create a well-rounded experience.

Gained international experience by living in the United States for two years – a leap in the dark, and still alluring


Havo diploma, started at the Arts Academy in Utrecht. Still baffled that something as much fun as inventing, designing and realising ideas might turn into career.


Internship with Koeweiden Postma design agency: the first real taste of graphic design.


Graduated, time for another leap: teaching as a volunteer in a Nepal village for half a year


Worked at the architectonic department of G-star and Magma designers.
